Twin Arrows Sanctuary began as belief that no wild mustang or burro should ever be neglected, or worse be shipped to slaughter for mans mistakes. We are dedicated to providing a safe haven for our wild ones who have found themselves in dire situations; rehabilitating and finding them loving homes, providing education on healthy range management and what we can do to keep wild horses wild!  Here at Twin Arrows we understand that sometimes this can not happen and roundups are necessary and we are devoted to promoting training and the versatility of the North American Mustang and Burro to get them into forever loving homes.

 

Founder of  Twin Arrows Sanctuary & Twin Arrows Equestrian Services LLC Victoria has always loved horses since she was a little girl and always had a special place in her heart for the wild ones after becoming captivated by the Cloud The Stallion documentaries at age 8. She began training horses when she was 15 years old but it wasn't until Nova when she realized she could do more for the mustangs and burros. In 2018  met her first wild mustang Nova and together they competed in a 100 day TIP Challenge. Nova had sat in a holding facility for 8 years being passed up every year every adoption event. No one wanted her, no one gave her a chance. Victoria saw more in her; Nova gave more try more love and compassion than any horse she'd ever met before. That's when she knew we had to more than just educate and rescue. We NEED to give these wild ones a fighting chance and give them the tools they need to get out of BLM holding facilities; stay out of the slaughter pipe line and get into forever homes. Victoria is a Mustang Heritage Foundation approved TIP trainer allowing us here at Twin Arrows to bring wild mustangs and burros home give them proper gentling and training and finding them approved adopters where they will be loved and cared for.
